Our modded server is currently running the SkyFactory 3 modpack - a new first-party official FTB modpack in which players will be placed on an island consisting of 1 dirt block and 1 oak tree floating in the void. Progression is guided by an achievement book but is not required.
Set-up[]
Follow these instructions in order to access the server.
Curse Launcher
- Download and install the Curse launcher from the FTB website.
- Launch the application, create a curse account if you don't have one, and log in.
- Click the Creeper icon on the left side of the Curse launcher.
- Click "Browse FTB Modpacks" at the top middle.
- Hoover over "FTB Presents: SkyFactory 3" and click the "Install button" that appears over the SkyFactory logo.
- Click the Creeper icon again and click on the modpack icon.
- Click the "..." button in the upper right corner. Select "Profile Options" from the dropdown menu.
- Uncheck the "use System Settingg" checkbox and drag the memory slider to at least 3GB. Click "OK"
- Click "Play" in the upper left corner
- Use the Minecraft launcher that appears and connect to winthier.com:6001

Troubleshooting[]
If you experience trouble connecting to the server, such as timing out, try to delete all of your Curse Launcher files from your disk and start with a fresh installation with the launcher from the download site.
If your game client freezes often during gameplay or does not start up at all, try increasing the RAM Maximum in your launcher options. We recommend using the maximum memory setting of at least 3584.
